S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl is the next installment in the Stalker game series. Its launch has been delayed till 2022 while it was first announced in 2010. Stalker 2 is set in the same post-nuclear world as the previous Stalker games. When it comes to immersive gameplay, the original stalker series are hard to beat. From the gameplay footage that has been revealed until now, it seems as Stalker 2 will be just as immersive.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Ubisoft has managed to attract the attention of tons of gamers with the trailer of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The game is set in the same universe as the movie. From all the trailers that have been released, it seems that it will be just as beautiful as the movie, if not more. The trailers have showcased the lush green jungles of Pandora and all the interesting creatures that live in it. The game will be launching in 2022.

Gotham Knights
It is very unlikely that anyone has ever said that they were tired of seeing Batman as the main playable character in a game set in the Batman universe. However, a lot of gamers are fans of other characters from the Batman universe as well and would love to see them as main characters in a video game. It seems that this will soon be a reality with the release of Gotham Knights.
“Gotham Knights” is all set to launch in 2022. In this game, players will be able to experience the crime-infested Gotham City as Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing, and Red Hood. These four characters have been handed the difficult task of dealing with some of the most iconic Villains of Gotham City. From all the trailers and gameplays that have been revealed until now, it appears that Batman is dead. However, to figure out how this story will play out we will need to wait for the game to launch.

Dying Light 2
Us gamers love a good zombie game. When you add insane parkour mechanics and cool melee weapons to the mix, you get something amazing. That something is Dying Light. Dying Light came out back in 2015 and, it was super enjoyable with an intriguing storyline. Its sequel Dying Light 2 is all set to launch in 2022. While it is clear from the gameplay trailers that are released so far that Dying Light 2 will also include great parkour mechanics, it won’t be a continuation of the story of the main character in the first game.

Initially named Project Athia, Forspoken is an action role-playing game that is being developed by the same studio that gave us amazing titles like “Final Fantasy XV”. The game will feature great traversal mechanics with the character speedily covering tons of ground in a fluid motion. It will release sometime in 2022.
A Plague Tale Requiem
Some games are well known for incredible graphics, while others are known for the heartwarming stories that they present. “A Plague Tale: Innocence” made us question if we were playing a video game or watching an emotional movie. It felt like riding a roller-coaster of emotions playing that game and, the launch for its sequel is right around the corner. A Plague Tale Requiem will be released in 2022 and it seems that it will hit us just as hard as its prequel with its touching story.

However, in our opinion, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl is most likely going to be one of the top-grossing video games of 2022. It is because of two main reasons. One, the game has a large fan base that’s been waiting for it to launch after 12 years, and second, the gameplay trailer for it made the crowd wild. It basically snatched the spotlight from all other games being revealed at the event. For what truly happens to the game, we would have to wait till its launch.
